Gert Kampmann, MD
Dr. Kampmann, MD, was born in Bardenberg, Germany. After attending primary and secondary school in Bonn and Dortmund, Dr Kampmann did a year of military service in the medical corps and military hospital. He then moved to Rome, where he studied Italian language and culture from 1979 to 1980 and subsequently enrolled in the medical faculty of the University of Rome (1980-1983). After returning to Germany, he attended the Free University of Berlin from 1983 to 1987 and passed his state examination in 1987.
Dr. med. Manuel Kampmann
Manuel Kampmann, MD, is a Swiss-German radiology specialist who completed his medical studies at the University of Basel in 2009. From 2010 to 2013, he completed a residency at the Institute of Radiology at the Kantonsspital Aarau AG and subsequently worked as a senior physician in the same department from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, he obtained his specialist qualification in radiology (FMH) and also completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University Hospital Basel from 2014 to 2015.
From 2015 to 2020, Dr Kampmann was Head of the Department of Musculoskeletal Radiology and Senior Physician at the Institute of Radiology of the Cantonal Hospital Aarau AG. He is also a certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist Step 2 and holds the European Diploma in Breast Imaging (EDBI) of the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI). He was also a member of the Endoprosthetics Centre at the Aarau Baden Cantonal Hospital and Deputy Head of the Senoradiology Department at the Breast Centre of the Aarau Cantonal Hospital AG.
Since 2020, he has worked as a radiologist at the Centre for Radiology and Senology in Lugano and is a member of the mammography screening programme of the Canton of Ticino.
Dr Kampmann is co-author of publications on various topics, including plantar fasciitis in sports and p16 expression in oropharyngeal carcinoma.
Dr. med. Luca Saba
Luca Saba, MD, is a radiologist. He graduated in medicine from the University of Parma (Italy) in 2009 and specialised in radiodiagnostics in 2015, also in Parma (Italy). In 2016, he obtained a Master’s degree in Direction and Management of Health Companies (MADIMAS) at LUM Jean Monnet University (Bari, Italy), and in 2017 he obtained a diploma in Oncological Interventional Radiology (University of Versailles-Yvelines, France) and in 2020 in Musculoskeletal Radiology (University of Toulouse and Montpellier, France). Dr med Saba worked at the Regional Oncology Centre of Normandy “Centre Henri Becquerel” in Rouen (France) from 2015 to 2017 and collaborated with the University Hospital of Rouen in the field of MRI of the digestive tract. In 2017, he continued his work experience at the public hospital of Toulon “Sainte Musse”. From 2018 to 2020, he then worked in the prestigious private hospitals of the ELSAN group “Centre Les Fleurs” and “Clinique du Cap D’Or” in the department of Toulon (France). From 2020 to 2021, he worked at the Institut Humanitas Mater Domini in the province of Varese (Italy).
Since 2021, he has been working at the Centro di Radiologia e Senologie Luganese
He is the author and co-author of 16 international publications.
Dr. med. Michele Pansini
Michele Pansini, MD, is a radiologist with extensive experience in gastrointestinal and cross-sectional imaging and image-guided interventions. He completed his medical studies at the University of Bari, Italy, and was certified as an FMH radiologist by the Swiss Medical Association after completing his residency at the Institute of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. He is currently completing a postgraduate course in patient safety at Oxford University, UK.
Dr Pansini has held important positions in his field, including Medical Director of the Oxford Community Diagnostic Centre and Consultant Gastrointestinal Radiologist in the Department of Radiology at Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust OUH. He has considerable experience in clinical research, particularly in abdominal and oncology radiology, and has presented his studies at numerous conferences and
meetings, including the European Society of Radiology and the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and the European Regional Committee of the Radiological Society of North America, as well as the European Society of Radiology, the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology and the Swiss Society of Radiology.
Dr.ssa med. Katia Piccotti
Dr Katia Piccotti graduated in Medicine and Surgery and specialised in Radiodiagnostics at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome in 2008 and 2014, respectively.
She has worked as an Assistant in various hospitals, including the ‘Bambino Gesù’ Paediatric Hospital in Rome and the ‘Val d’Hebron’ Hospital in Barcelona.
He has gained extensive experience as a Radiologist, focusing in particular on Diagnostic and Interventional Senology, working from 2014 to 2018 at the Centre de Diagnostic per la Imatge and the Corachan Clinic in Barcelona (Spain) and then from 2018 to February 2024 at the prestigious Rotger Clinic in Palma de Mallorca (Spain).
Since March 2024, she has been working at the Centro di Radiologia e Senologia Luganese and is accredited for the Mammographic Screening Programme of the Canton of Ticino.
She has participated in numerous International Courses and Congresses and is author of numerous international publications.
